This video demonstrates how a respire pink herbst device is advanced. After you know where to put the screwdriver the advancement is actually very easy. In treatment we start in a very neutral position on purpose to allow time to get used to wearing the device. After this initial transition the device is often advanced to open the airway further and improve sleep and breathing. By advancing the device we are advancing the mandible and opening the airway further. This is how sleep and breathing are improved and snoring is reduced.
