This video demonstrates how a Panthera D-SAD device is taken apart and the retention rods are changed to advance the device. In treatment we start in a very neutral position on purpose to allow time to get used to wearing the device. After this initial transition the device is often advanced to open the airway further and improve sleep and breathing. By advancing the device we are advancing the mandible and opening the airway further. This is how sleep and breathing are improved and snoring is reduced.
